Master Chief Master Diver Robert Carmichael served in the United States Navy from June 30, 1978, to October 30, 2000. Bob entered the Navy just after turning 17 years of age. Master Chief Master Diver Steve Wiggins joined the U.S. Navy in November 1978 and retired from active duty in October 2005. He served in the fleet for five years as a Yeoman before he attended Navy 2nd Class Dive School in 1984 at Coronado, California.
